This course takes you through the games I use at Starr Tutoring to help children learn their times tables.
I focus on using games as they are (or are supposed to be ....) fun and if the child is enjoying themselves they are more likely to relax and learn. When a child is happy they will also be more confident about joining in. The more they join in, the more practice they get and the better they become. The better they become, the more their confidence grows.
I have kept the cost of this course to a minimum as I want as many people to buy it as possible.
Every time someone buys this course, I will send the link for it to a child who struggles with learning absolutely FREE. The child / family can be self nominated or you can nominate someone yourself.
Why?
When I was putting this course together it struck me that it would be amazing to help 1 million children (or more!) children have an enjoyable experience of learning their times tables. That was wildly optimistic that I would ever sell that number of courses, so I decided that the best thing to do was to give the course away and this seemed like a great way to do it. This target will probably take a life time or more to achieve, but that doesn't matter, it's knowing that we are consistently making progress to that target.
My using the "Buy one, Get one Free" philosophy I could still generate an income for the business to keep creating more courses and helping more people. I could also employ more tutors and expand the number of children we can support in one to one lessons.
Education should be an enjoyable experience and everyone should have access to great education.
I hope by creating this course, I am contributing towards that. I hope you feel by buying this course, you are not only supporting your own child but helping another child who perhaps has learning difficulties, in Fostering, less affluent, or another reason you are helping them too.

I started in childcare and education over 18 years ago and I have learned that the more we can build someone's self belief and make learning an enjoyable experience, the more productive we will be.
It is this methodology which I use throughout everything I do.
Over these past 18 years apart from: completing my degree and numerous other courses on childcare, education, special needs and learning styles, I have had a book published and completed several e-books.
I have been interviewed on a local and an international radio station.
I have run workshops and charity events.
I have grown Starr Tutoring (the tutoring company I started in 2012) to a small team of fantastic tutors.
My aim in life is to support as many people as I can in building confidence and knowledge in maths and English.
I also want to support other tutors in offering fantastic support and celebrating their successes as well.
